What I do

I'm a Front End Developer based in Sydney, where I work with a large range of talented people locally and internationally.

My core focus is HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Working with the super fun and talented team at Design Royale on this Instagram campaign was a blast. Dealing with APIs, heavy imagery and a tricky design was challenging but rewarding.

Kin Things

2014 · Web · Mobile

When approached by Brecon and Nathan from Kin Things to help create a visually striking experience to showcase their work I jumped at the opportunity. I couldn't be happier with the end result.

My Menagerie

This one was a favour for my partner. It exudes simplicity and has given her felt products an online presence. The site does not boast any fancy development techniques but the simple structure really lets the products shine.

Working with Phil and Brett to bring their after hours project to life was awesome. Seeing the design and implementation evolve over numerous discussions sure did produce an end product that is without a doubt something I very happy to be a part of.

Sloburn

2014 · Web · Mobile

I was fortunate enough to help Brett give Sloburn an online presence that really showcases the amazing work that it produces. A masonry layout with some infinite scrolling action for optimisation ended up being a nice little technical job.

The Australian

The Australian

2011 - 2012 · Web · Mobile

Developing behind Australia's first news paywall was super exciting but also high pressure. During my time working on The Australian, I helped optimise the code base, rollout various sub-pillars and develop a number of homepage templates for major events.

Total Travel

Total Travel

2013 -2014 · Web

The project that never shipped... Oh the pain... The non-shipped site is hooked up to utilise the Booking.com API, the Flickr API and aligned with internal APIs. This was one epic project that helped me not only improve my JavaScript skills but also grow as a developer.

Web Design Weekly

Web Design Weekly

2011 - 2014 · Web · Mobile

My personal side project that has taken up most of my spare time during the last few years. Web Design Weekly is where I express my knowledge, experiment and give back to the community.

Yahoo!7

Yahoo!7

2012 - 2014 · Web · Mobile

During my time at Yahoo!7 I managed to get my hands dirty on all of the properties it maintains. I also helped implement internal coding standards and improve the overall development workflow.
